We care about everyone’s peace of mind at Luana Kai. In order to protect our guests we have some important information and rules that must be followed.

We want your stay at Luana Kai to feel like coming home — and like any home, ours comes with a few honest truths worth knowing. We respond same-day to any concern — but we cannot promise that nature will always cooperate.

Maui Hazards and Tropical Living:
Maui is a living paradise and we are deeply grateful to spend our lives here. Our warm climate, lush grounds, and ocean breezes occasionally share space with geckos, passing showers, gusts of wind, or a bug slipping past our pest control. We use the same professional services as everyone on island that treat our homes and businesses thoroughly, safely, and on a consistent basis. We maintain everything with genuine care for our guests and our selves. Encounters with Hawaii’s natural environment, including wildlife, weather, dust, high surf, or rare utility interruptions from Maui County, are part of island life and can not be grounds for refunds.

Some Particular Amenities:
Your unit comes fully loaded with everything we’d want if we were staying here ourselves — full kitchen, linens, towels, in-unit washer and dryer, high-speed WiFi, and more.
The one thing we leave to you is personal items such as shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, lotion, moisturizer, deodorant, and dryer sheets. Forgot something? Kihei’s shops are just minutes away.
We’ve been welcoming guests to this little corner of Maui since 1992 and our approach has never changed: be honest, be helpful, and take care of you like family. If anything comes up during your stay, we’re right here. Just call.

Luana Kai Pool Rules

• No Glass Of Any Kind Is Permitted In The Fenced Pool Areas Includes: Bottles, Glasses, Plates, Serving Dishes, Coffee Cups, Etc.
• No Children Under The Age Of 12 In The Pool Area Without An Adult Present.
• Support Animals, Though Allowed In The Pool Area, Are Barred By Law From The Pool Or Hot Tub For Sanitation Reasons.
• No Swim Fins, Boogie Boards, Rafts Or Large Inflatables Are To Be Used In The Pool Or Hot Tub.
• Masks, Swim Goggles, Snorkels And Small Inflatables May Be Used In The Pool But Not In The Hot Tub.
• Arm Floats Or Life Vests May Be Used By Non-Swimmers In The Pool But Not In The Hot Tub. Foam Noodles May Be Used As Floatation Devices Only. No Slapping Noodles And No Noodles In The Hot Tub.
• Yelling, Running And Cannonballing Is Not Permitted In The Fenced Pool Area. No Marco Polo Type Games Permitted.
• Toddler And Infants Must Wear Swim Diapers In The Fenced Pool Area. No Naked Swimming Regardless Of Age.
• No Reserving Lounge Chairs With Towels.
• If You Must Use Cell Phone, Please Leave The Fenced Pool Area. Music Players May Be Used With Headphones Only.

While there is ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING in any Luana Kai buildings – there are designated smoking areas with benches and ashtrays in shaded areas on the grounds parking lots for your convenience. We do our best to make everybody happy and comfortable.

Cleaning fee due on check in:
One bedroom $175.
Two bedroom $199.
Three bedroom $249.

We reserve the right to exchange your booked unit for one of equal value.

Final payment of balance is due at CHECK IN.

Minimum Stay: 4 nights all year except Holiday Season: Dec 20 – Jan 5 (7 nights) Check out – 11 am : Check in – 4 pm

• In condo clothes washer and dryer, color TV, ceiling fans, and voice mail.
• Pool, hot-tub, putting green, saunas, and tennis courts.
• Cabana, with fridge, stove, sink, and gas grills.
• Each Maui condo unit is privately owned so there is no maid service.
• We clean and stock each unit with linens and paper products.
• We provide starter packs of coffee, bath soap, laundry detergent, and dish soap.
• Once emptied, you can buy any further products you need.
