Ma'alaea Maui Restaurants

  • Seascape Ma’alaea Restaurant – attached to the Maui Ocean center, the Seascape can be entered from outside the ocean center or within. You do not have to buy Aquarium tickets to eat here, just use the outer entrance. Serving breakfast and lunch, the Seascape is open until 5pm and sometimes until 6pm. Fare includes burgers, salads, soups, and a few entrees. Make a reservation for the Huaka’i Luau – Journey Through Polynesia in Maui.
  • Beach Bums BBQ & Grill – attached to the Main Maalaea mall, Beach Bums BBQ & Grill has a hearty menu for your appetite. A casual setting with a happy hour tradition, Beach Bum’s serves many a local sailor and has an upbeat atmosphere. Open every day 8AM to 9PM, Happy Hour is 3PM – 6PM, and there is live music from 5PM to 8 PM. Get excited, Beach Bum’s is FUN! Beach Bums is the upbeat entry of Maalaea Maui Restaurants.
  • Ma’alaea General Store – Since 1910 Maalaea General store has been providing the ocean going people of Maui the goods they need. Serving breakfast and Lunch with a wide selection of burgers, salads, and plate lunches, you can get what you want for a decent price and eat there or take it on picnic. They even have gluten free sandwiches.
  • Carl’s Jr – The only Carl’s Jr on the island and a ‘Green Burrito’ Carl’s Jr so you can get burritos, tacos and Mexican specialties along with the regular fare. The only literally fast food of all the Maalaea Maui Restaurants. If you like that sort of fast food, there it is. Open 6AM – 10PM weekdays and to 11PM weekends.
  • Tante Ma’alaea Harbor Restaurant & Bar – Overlooking the harbor with indoor and outdoor seating. A full sized bar. On offering delicious mixes of Hawaiian, Asian and Pacific Rim-inspired cuisine. The extensive menu includes fresh fish, crab, crab legs, shrimp, scallops, muscles and lobster. Beef steaks,  ribs, pork and chicken fare increase your choices.  Try the oxtail soup, Furikake crusted salmon and flavorful chicken or pork. Enjoy classic Filipino favorites like Kare Kare (stew). boneless bangus (deboned milkfish), munggo beans, Abobong Pusit, (shrimp in vinegar with chilis simmered in coconut milk) and veal shank adobo.
  • Point Break Pizza and Panini – With their very special 48 hour rising dough Point Break has a unique airy crust as the foundation of their wood-fired panini and pizza creations. They use locally sourced ingredients to make artisanal pizzas, small plates, salads, and paninis. Appetizers include honey and cheesy focaccias and tomato bruschetta. For entrees enjoy a base of garlic sauce. red and spicey red sauces topped with meaty and vegetarian toppings. Grilled and toasted panini sustain the many panini sandwiches including club, kalua pork, bacon, portabella mushroom, Italian, vegetable and roasted turkey. Cannolis and tiramisu bring up dessert if you can still possibly be hungry.
