If you haven’t yet visited Molokini, now may be the time to give it a whirl!
This underwater volcanic cone is a prize among world snorkel spots.
Here’s a video from a recent Visitor’s trip to the crater we found on youtube.
Don’t they make snorkeling the volcano look grand?
Whether you get in the water or not, wear plenty of sunscreen and have a great day!
I just wanted to take a moment to tell you that my wife and I had a wonderful time staying at Luana Kai last week. A101 was perfectly stocked and was a lovely location. We enjoyed being able to sit on the lanai with our coffee in the morning and our adult beverage in the evening watching the ocean and the folks in the park. Thank you again for allowing us to depart late due to our very late flight on Sunday evening. It basically gave us an additional day of vacation.
Please thank Mario again for helping us to jump start our car on Monday. Following his advice we were able to get a replacement through the rental agency with a minimum of trouble.
We were very sad to have to leave but we will certainly come back to visit again soon. I think we have found a permanent base camp on Maui.

Hi Leslie and Mario,
Ann and I want to wish you both and family a HAPPY NEW YEAR.. We were doing some photos today and came across one that we had taken 25 years ago at the Luana Kai. Wow no grey hair, We were in our ground floor condo, same building that we stayed last Sept. Oct. We had Flowers around our necks as the traditional Hawaiian Greeting.
That brought back some memories. Maybe you greeted us when we arrived. I know you were at Luana Kai when we were there 25 years ago.
We will show you pictures when you come to BC for a visit.
The weather here has been cold but sunny. WE will take it.
We miss the heat and the pool and the nice people we met this year. Also you and Mario .
Take care and have a drink for us tonite. Love to all. Wally and Ann.
