Lahaina, Maui Restaurants

So many great restaurants were lost in the Lahaina wildfire of 2023. Many shut down in the surrounding areas due to the hit on the Maui economy. A few have returned within the burn zone and more outside of it in surrounding Napili, Ka’anapali, Kapalua, and Olawalu. Here we list current popular places to eat and you can help the people of Lahaina by patronizing these restaurants.

  • Old Lahaina Luau – 1251 Front Street, Lahaina. So much more than dining and so much more than a show. Old Lahaina Luau combines both into a grand experience of the true culture of Hawaii. Reopened March 12th.
  • Aloha Mized Plate – 1285 Front Street, Lahaina
  • Joey’s Kitchen
  • Mala Ocean TavernTouted in Hawaii Magazine for its local cuisine, Mala Ocean Tavern sits directly at the waters edge on Front Street in Old Lahaina Town. Mala’s supports the Lahaina community with daily restaurant eating as well as catering, comedy and a long morning “Mosas at Malas”, Mimosa Brunch special – Monday through Saturday from 9AM to 2PM for only $6 per drink and fantastic brunch, dinner and happy hour menus focused on (what else?), pacific sea food. Mala’s serves mainly ocean cuisine with flat breads, salads and even some land based entrees. Click the link, check out their menu’s, prepare for “onolicious” Maui grinds!
